Apple reinforce its security by launching Lockdown mode on upcoming iOS – Software
Apple has launched its new groundbreaking security capability that offers specialized additional protection to users who may be at risk of highly targeted cyberattacks from private companies developing state-sponsored mercenary spyware.
Apple is also offering 10 million grant for the company called bolster research for making apple aware of such threats.
The prize of $2 millions is also offered for those who find Lockdown Mode bypasses and help improve its protections. These bounties are doubled for qualifying findings in Lockdown Mode, which is the highest bounty in the bounty payout industry.
so, what actually is Lockdown Mode?
Apple has made most secure mobile devices in the market. But still bolster research made Apple aware about the new security threat that be users potential threat and protecting users from most sophisticated threat.

Message attachments other than image attachements are blocked.
Complex web technologies like JIT (Just In Time), Java Script compilations are also disabled unless user define them as a trusted site.
Incoming services and invitaions are also blocked for example FaceTime, unless the user has initiated the the connection previously.
Wired connection are blocked with computers when the device is locked.
User are not able to configure thier profile when Lockdown mode is on.
Lockdown mode will be lauched this September with iOS 16, iPadOS 16, and macOS Ventura — is an extreme and an optional protection for the tiny number of users who face grave, targeted threats to their digital security.
